The Pearls are the pituitary glands of Smartians used as the primary source of energy and power in Dr. HYM’s Hallucination Engine. These pearls are made of highly concentrated heavy DMT which acts as the catalyst for rendering powerful hallucinations in conjunction with the Interrogator Unit components to produce physical reality.
The Pearls are placed on the center crown of the Hallucination Engine and are activated when the Engine is ready to render a Genesis Event.
Upon Activation, the Pearl triggers a significant amount of electromagnetic energy throwing arcs of lighting in all directions starting the Genesis Event.
Due to their potency, the Pearls are extremely powerful but are only active for a short time, which means Dr. HYM needs a lot of pearls to use his Hallucination Engine to render Genesis Events.
